First Look: Upcoming Stories and Show Previews

One of the most powerful moments on your wedding day is when you see your sweetheart for the first time. First looks are becoming a popular tradition to create this special moment away from guests and the hustle and bustle of your day.Spoilers

This can be done in many creative ways! Some ideas include: standing back to back, tapping your partner on the shoulder and turning around, walking around a corner or even removing a blindfold!

  1. Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead

The zombie apocalypse is everywhere: zombie blockbusters, zombie survival games, and even reworks of classic literature featuring zombies have become mainstream. But while zombies may be ubiquitous, the upcoming anime series Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead aims to give it a refreshing new spin.

While most people would be terrified in the event of a zombie apocalypse, Alita Tendo is overjoyed! He despises his job as an overworked, underpaid employee of a hostile production company, so when the zombie apocalypse strikes, he’s liberated from his horrible life and discovers he can pursue his true passions! He starts a bucket list of the things he wants to do before turning into a zombie, and his zeal for life returns in full force!

The teaser for the show reveals that the main cast includes Shuichiro Umeda (Mashle: Magic and Muscles), Tomori Kusunoki (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club), Makoto Furukawa (Dr. Stone, Fruits Basket 2019), and Minami Takahashi (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma). The music is composed by Makoto Miyazaki of One Punch Man fame, and the animation is by studio BUG FILMS, known for Anime Unleashed, Kotoraku and more.

The first episode of Zom 100: Bucket List of The Dead will simulcast premiere on July 9 on Crunchyroll and Netflix in the US. It will also be available dubbed in English, French, German, Italian, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Hindi. The series is based on the manga of the same name by Haro Aso and Kotaro Takata, and it’s currently serialized in Shogakukan’s Monthly Sunday Gene-X. 1. The Frozen Wedding

Wedding photographers KarLee and Alex Cox love helping couples capture their big day. So when social distancing measures forced them to postpone their spring weddings, the Brigham City, Utah couple turned to a different kind of love story: Hans Christian Anderson’s Frozen. The result was a sweet photoshoot featuring meaningful looks and romantic embraces in a leafy green field. Guests included Honeymaren and Ryder, and Elsa walked the bride down the aisle. A palette of wintry white, ice blue and a hint of rich winter rose makes this wedding a frosty dream.

  1. The Wedding of Kyle & Claire

Kyle and Claire’s wedding featured an abundance of special family touches including her mother’s garter, her father’s Chi Omega pledge pin, and a song performed by her brother-in-law (who just happens to be the host of one of the most popular Dom Coms around). Keep Floral crafted a loose and wild bouquet with white, ivory, and blush dahlias, ranunculus, and lisianthus paired with deep greenery.

The couple exchanged vows in the glass solarium of Denver Botanic Gardens, surrounded by the gardens’ natural beauty. “We were so lucky to get married in such a beautiful place,” Claire says. “We weren’t going to add much decor, so having a natural backdrop really helped us save money.”

As the wedding party entered the room, they were greeted with a surprise performance by Kyle’s brother-in-law, the host of one of America’s most popular Dom Coms. Jay recited a hilarious poem about his love for Claire, complete with a subversive reference to the show’s notoriously salacious content.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds posed for photos on the cliffside overlooking the raging river below. (As a side note, it should be mentioned that there is a very real gorge behind the set where the scenes are filmed.)

The episode concludes with Michael congratulating his wife on becoming an official “dom mom.” She responds that she will now be allowed to date — something that she’s been forbidden from since Jay got pregnant with their first child, Junior. (As we all know, that’s a very long time ago.) For more on the show, check out the Jeremy Kyle website.
