Get Ready for Twists: TV Spoilers and Plot Leaks

It’s a lot harder to surprise audiences when genre rules and cliches are so well established. When you have millions of plot guessers hive-minding over the same content instantaneously online, it becomes almost impossible to hide a twist from viewers.Anupama Written Update

As with any protective style, it’s best to start with clean hair. This ensures your twists look neat (product buildup and tangled strands make it difficult to separate) and last longer.

The Walking Dead Season 6

The Walking Dead Season 6 has been a strong one for the show. The writing has been excellent, and the plot has gotten a lot more interesting, especially after the mid-season break. The writers finally broke the action episode – talking episode cycle, and the show got some of its best moments.

The main storyline has focused on Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) leading his group through a series of crises, including luring a massive herd away from a quarry, an attack by dangerous scavengers, the discovery of another survivor community, and becoming adversaries with a large group of hostile Saviors.

While many fans have speculated that someone major is going to die in the finale, the show hasn’t confirmed who it is yet. That means that the off-season will be full of theories, articles, and clues trying to figure out who will be killed.

In one of the most shocking scenes from the season, Carol kills a Savior in order to save her friends. While this is a great action scene, it also shows that the writers are willing to go a little bit over the top to make the plot move forward. This trend of characters acting out of character is something that has plagued The Walking Dead for years, and it seems to be getting worse as time goes on.

Game of Thrones Season 6

In what was arguably the most intense season in Game of Thrones history, fans witnessed some of the show’s most shocking and sad moments. From Jon Snow’s resurrection to the Battle of the Bastards, there were so many twists and turns. And of course, there was a whole lot of bloodshed.

Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on the HBO series, recently suggested that creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss crafted multiple possible endings to the season six finale. This was supposedly done in an attempt to avoid leaks and spoilers.

One of the biggest twists in Game of Thrones Season 6 was that Bran Stark learned “everything” from his time spent beyond the wall, thanks to a little help from the Three Eyed Raven and his visions of Westeros past and future. He also saw how the Children of the Forest created the White Walkers by sticking dragonglass in the hearts of men, a vital piece of information to the war against them.

Samwell Tarly also spent the season travelling from Castle Black to the Citadel in Old Town, where he hoped to do more research into the White Walkers. Pictures have been leaked showing him in Walder Frey’s gloomy murder castle, which is interesting because of his relationship with Jaime Lannister.

The Big Bang Theory Season 8

The eighth season of The Big Bang Theory kicked off with Sheldon attempting to re-define his life after his soul-searching cross-country train trip ended in disaster. While he was away, Penny chopped her hair and started her new job as a pharmaceutical sales rep; Wolowitz was shocked by a man who claimed to be his half brother; and Sheldon and Amy reached a milestone in their relationship while building their first blanket fort.

The rest of the gang is back to their usual antics as Leonard and Penny move closer to marriage, while Sheldon struggles with the prospect of traditional romantic traditions. Meanwhile, the guys help Penny out of an awkward work dilemma when a smitten doctor shows up at her door, and Howard and Bernadette try to get their marriage on track as Raj deals with his parents’ impending divorce.

This season also saw Sheldon getting a nose surgery (which was a total disaster) and the guys re-creating proms and holiday celebrations they didn’t attend. And, of course, there was plenty of wacky hijinks as Sheldon and Wolowitz tried to sneak into George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch; Sheldon and Amy reached an important milestone in their relationship, and Bernadette helped Howard cope with his mother’s death.

The Big Bang Theory Season 9

The Big Bang Theory may be the most-watched sitcom in TV history, but that doesn’t mean the show is running out of stories to tell. In fact, the series could benefit from more episodes that bring the gang together or mix up pairings for a fresh new dynamic.

In this week’s episode, Sheldon and Leonard’s Game of Thrones viewing party is interrupted by the arrival of their single father Alfred (taxi legend Judd Hirsch) and Sheldon’s God-loving mom Mary (Laurie Metcalf). As expected, things go awry when Sheldon starts to get on everyone’s nerves with his swagger, especially when he brags about dating two women.

Meanwhile, Howard and Bernadette celebrate their anniversary by re-evaluating their relationship, while Raj’s infatuation with Emily makes him question his future with the feisty socialite. In the end, however, it looks like Sheldon and Amy will be able to set their differences aside, thanks to a little help from a familiar face. Watch the full episode on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. Check out a sneak peek above.

The Big Bang Theory Season 10

If you’re a fan of The Big Bang Theory, then Thursday’s season finale was probably what you wanted. Sheldon finally proposed to Amy (Mayim Bialik), after an unwelcome advance from Ramona prompted him to get out his Meemaw ring and take a cab, buy a ticket, fly across the country, watch SpongeBob in-flight, and arrive at her apartment on Princeton’s campus. He then got on one knee and asked her to marry him.

Sheldon’s impulsive decision was the climactic twist viewers have been waiting for all season, though perhaps a little too predictable. Still, this isn’t a show like Lost that needs to keep its audience on edge with surprise plot twists. Chuck Lorre and 11 credited writers understand the show’s strengths, which are its characters and their connection to each other.

But this season also saw the return of Raj and Stuart, as well as the announcement that Bernadette is expecting a baby. The series also celebrated the completion of the top secret air force project and, of course, Howard and Bernadette’s annual coitus clause. So, while Sheldon and Amy’s cliffhanger was certainly the most dramatic moment of the episode, the rest of the gang had some memorable moments as well.

The Big Bang Theory Season 11

The Big Bang Theory continues to be the highest-rated scripted series on television. The eleventh season began airing in September 2017 and ended on May 10, 2018. The season featured twenty-four episodes.

The highlight of this season was Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) proposal to Amy (Mayim Bialik). Her immediate response was a resounding “yes!” and wedding bells are set to ring.

Sheldon and Amy are constantly butting heads on decisions as they plan their nuptials. Meanwhile, Howard and Bernadette (Kaley Cuoco) are adjusting to parenthood and Raj and Ruchi (Swati Kapila) continue their quest for a baby.

A large part of the show’s chemistry stems from its cast. However, a large number of high-profile guest stars have also made appearances on the CBS hit. Regina King reprised her role as Ramona Nowitzki, Wil Wheaton guest starred as himself and Jerry O’Connell returned to his role as Sheldon’s older brother George.

The Big Bang Theory has always eschewed sitcom tropes for a more cerebral approach to storytelling. It is not a show that will surprise viewers with wild plot twists, but it can still manage to be funny and touching all at once. For instance, in the season finale, Sheldon and Amy eschewed the usual sitcom gimmicks of cliffhangers, last-minute objections and crazy impediments to make their marriage official at City Hall.

The Big Bang Theory Season 12

The Big Bang Theory came to an end last week, bringing all of the characters’ narrative arcs to their natural conclusions. Unlike other shows that have opted for dramatic or surprising finales, the Big Bang Theory finale was content to let viewers just sit and connect with its characters. And perhaps that’s exactly what the series needed in its final hours.

The gang prepares for Sheldon and Amy’s trip to Stockholm for the Nobel Prize ceremony, with Howard and Bernadette leaving their children with Stuart and Raj with Bert. Meanwhile, Sheldon reveals that he’s become pregnant, a surprise to both Leonard and himself. Sheldon tries to reassure Penny that the pregnancy is a good thing, but she refuses to be convinced.

Sheldon then meets with Kripke, who offers to get him proof that Pemberton plagiarized his thesis, jeopardizing his chances at winning the Nobel Prize. But Sheldon and Amy reject the blackmail, as they want to win on their own merits. Sheldon and Amy then use the information to expose Campbell and Pemberton, causing them both to be fired from their positions. The gang then prepares for Wil Wheaton’s Celebrity Dungeons and Dragons, with Sheldon helping to find an open seat.
